Job Description –

  • Witness/ Perform inspections for preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical / electro-mechanical (hydraulic and pneumatic) equipment and systems.
  • Prepare QAP, Manufacturing Plan/ Repair Plan, Inspection Test Plan and Trial Protocols based on OEM and design documents.
  • Implement and apply company quality standards.
  • Prepare inspection reports, test and trial reports etc as required.
  • Coordinate with back-office for reviewing quality and technical topics etc.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (suppliers, laboratories, subcontractors and clients) for scheduling and monitoring various inspections/ trials.
  • Train and develop new and existing vendors to apply quality assurance and control tools.

Candidate Skill Required –

  • Good ability to read and comprehend system engineering drawings/ documents/ equipment technical manuals/ supplier data.
  • Hands on experience in performing inspections, supervising subcontractors for inspections, preparing inspection reports, comprehend inspection/ trial reports etc.
  • Hands on experience in use of instruments used for inspections/ tests/ trials.
  • Proficient with MS- Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Methodical, thorough and autonomous.
  • Good communication skills with ability to take initiative.

Reporting to - Deputy General Manager

Experience – Minimum 5 years. Experience in Shipbuilding / Submarine construction / maintenance / repair fields is mandatory

Job Description –

  • Managing investigation of warranty claims & defects in defined way.
  • Managing inspections, investigations of the equipment under BQ
  • Identification of defects in equipment’s and analyze their potential root cause.
  • Defining the repair process of defective items.
  • To provide technical solutions & assistance in local repair process at local vendors.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on various issues occurred and issues solved.
  • Participate in the capitalization of the know-how maintenance

Candidate Skill Required –

  • Good experience in trouble shooting of problems related to hydraulic systems/ pneumatic systems, different mechanical equipment
  • Good knowledge & experience of maintenance & repairs of mechanical equipment’s & components
  • Good technical report writing skill

Job Description –

  • Provide solutions to customer (internal or external) needs through technical expertise on electrical and electronics system topics of Scorpene submarine with appropriate documentations. Execution of preventive & corrective maintenance of electrical and electronics system equipment on Scorpene Submarine as well as workshop.
  • Analyse and solve complex problems related to electrical and electronics systems of Scorpene Submarine with effective use and interpretation of data from various types of testing equipment. Identify the root cause of a problem, develop a plan to address it and implement that plan efficiently.
  • Collaboration with hierarchal manager, colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to understands objectives and requirements through effective communication, along with active listening and asking questions to clarify understanding. Communicate facts and ideas effectively by technical writing through clear and concise technical reports, proposals, and documentation to all concerned.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently and avoid procrastination to meet work deadlines. Be adaptable and able to handle new challenges when working on complex projects. Meticulous and organized approach by paying close attention to specifications, codes, and standards to ensure the work meets all safety and quality requirements along with analysing data and identifying potential errors or inconsistencies.
  • Thoroughly understand safety codes, standards, and rules to ensure the safety of self and others. Identify potential hazards and take appropriate measures to prevent accidents. Minimize the risk of accidents and ensure a safe working environment for everyone involved. Familiar with personal protective equipment (PPE) and use it when necessary.

Candidate Skill Required –

  • Technical expertise on Scorpene submarine’s electrical & electronics systems / equipment. Knowledge of hydrographic & oceanographic survey equipment as well as marine navigation & communication systems.
  • Preventive & corrective maintenance of electronics equipment on ships/submarines. Hands-on experience on repairs of electrical & electronics equipment up to PCB level.
  • Understanding analog and digital electronics devices & circuits, communication systems, networking & signal processing. Ability to use electrical and electronics testing equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with competency in technical writing and documentation. Attention to detail and accuracy with excellent communication skills and continuous learning and adaptability.
  • IPC-A-620 (Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies).
  • IPC-A-610 Certified (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies).
  • IPC-7711C-7721C Certified (Rework, Modification and Repair of Electronic Assemblies).
  • Awareness of safety protocols and regulations.

Job Description –

  • Access clearance to Naval Base: The request for access clearance to the Naval Base. Collect all the information required to ask for access clearance (Laptop number, HDD number, or any device seeking permission). During SR: Managing entry/Exit of personnel in NSRYK through coordination with NSRYK / Ship Staff Escort along with laptops.
  • Management of monitoring and following files: Technical data such as technical reports, waiver demands, or any reports.
  • Official communication with the customer: Letters, fax, emails from and to the customer.
  • Maintaining inventory records of spares within NGI Portacabin at NSRYK and coordinating with NGI Teams for maintenance activities and coordinating with logistic support.
  • Management of missionaries (from NG, NGI, or subcontractors): Allocation of cars and drivers, booking of hotels, and management of mobile phones.
  • Catering management: Daily orders to the local provider and transportation of the catering.
  • General office management: Presence sheets, stationeries, pantry management.
  • Point of contact for IT service in relation with NGI HO: Address needs, requests, and problems to the IT NGI Team faced at NSRYK workshop.

Job Description –

  • Responsible to manage assigned programs along with assigned PMO.
  • Prepare the program using the Naval Group India program management policy with the PMO (scope validation, WBS, cost breakdown, Change management, Purchase requirements, assessment of R&O, QAP, information systems requirement, definition of milestones based on the program type, etc.).
  • Coordinate with internal (technical, quality, purchase, logistics) and external stakeholders (IN, MDL, Suppliers) for program execution.
  • Carry out re-forecasting actions for the schedule(s) based on the feedback from customer or change in the scope.
  • Monitor the physical progress and the cost to completion of program execution.
  • Analyze and propose actions to reduce deviations with reference to the deviations.
  • Identify risks (technical and others) and mitigate the same.
  • Prepare and present program reviews for the program team and management.
